How to Manage Your ReviewX Licenses & Connected Sites

Every license key that connects your WordPress site to a ReviewX plan is managed from one screen in the Client Portal — generate new keys, see what’s connected, and clean up ones you’re not using.

Step 1: Open Licenses

Sign in to the Client Portal and click Licenses. You’ll see summary tiles for Total, Remaining, Used, and Unused keys, followed by a full table.

Step 2: Generate a new key

Click Generate New Key — a new, unused key appears in the table. Click the copy icon next to it to copy it for pasting into the plugin.

Step 3: Find and filter your keys

Use the search box, the Filter by dropdown (All/Used/Unused), and Sort by (Oldest/Newest) to find a specific key quickly.

Step 4: Manage an existing key

Open the menu on any license row. Available actions depend on the key’s current state:

  • Remove Site — disconnects the site from the license, freeing it up to activate elsewhere. Available on keys currently in use.
  • Regenerate Key — issues a new key value; the old one stops working everywhere. Use this if a key may have leaked.
  • Deactivate Key / Activate Key — temporarily disable a key without deleting it, and reverse that later.
  • Delete License Key — permanently removes the key. Disabled while a site is still connected; remove the site first.

Each of these shows a confirmation modal before applying, since they immediately affect whichever site is using that key.
