Waiting to notice a new review in your dashboard means you might miss it for days. ReviewX can email you the moment a customer submits a review, so moderation and replies happen faster.
Step 1: Open General Settings
Go to ReviewX → General Settings → General and find the Admin Notification section.
Step 2: Configure the notification
- Check Get notified when a customer sends a review.
- Choose when to notify — for every review, or only for reviews within a specific rating range.
- Enter the email address that should receive notifications.
Step 3: Save
Click Save. You’ll now get an email whenever a new review matching your rules is submitted.
Not receiving notifications?
This depends on your WordPress site being able to send mail. If notifications aren’t arriving, connect your own mail server under General Settings → SMTP — see Connecting Your Own SMTP Server — and send a test to confirm delivery.
