Letting visitors vote on customer reviews turns your feedback section into a dynamic, community-curated resource. Highlighting helpful reviews makes product evaluation effortless for new buyers while boosting engagement across your store.
How to Enable Review Voting
- Go to ReviewX → Reviews → Review settings in your WordPress dashboard.
- Scroll to the Enable like/dislike row [1].
- Switch the toggle On to activate the voting feature on your storefront review widgets.
- Select your preferred voting mode:
- Allow like & dislike: Displays both a thumbs-up (helpful) and thumbs-down (unhelpful) button on each review. Visitors can vote either way, helping filter out unhelpful or low-quality remarks.
- Allow only like: Displays only a thumbs-up button. This maintains an exclusively positive, supportive community tone while still allowing the most valuable reviews to rise to the top.
- Click Save to store your configuration.
Storefront Display & Sorting
Once enabled, visitors will see vote counts next to each review card. Furthermore, customers can use the Review Widget’s sort dropdown to sort reviews by Most Helpful, ensuring your best testimonials get maximum visibility.
