ReviewX introduced the amazing feature, product review import from another site. This feature helps to import all the product reviews and ratings from one online store to another in an efficient and quick manner.
The review import feature comes with a separate menu in ReviewX. Go to the ‘Review Import’ menu and upon clicking it will open a page.
Step 1: Upload CSV file #
To import review, ReviewX takes CSV (Comma-Separated Values) file as input. You need to upload a CSV ( UTF-8 Encoded ) file to import your product review.
Click the ‘Choose File’ button to upload CSV file, then click the ‘Upload’ button to complete the action as well as proceed to mapping section.
Step 2: Column Heading Selection For Mapping #
Select a column from the file to group your reviews. It is recommended to group by product title.
Step 3: Map Import Column #
Based on the selection of column heading, the column name appears in this section, and the dropdown data is automatically populated.
The left-side column items will be populated based on headers from the uploaded CSV file and the right side is system attributes.
Step 4: Import Review #
Select the fields to be imported. Product rating, review content, customer name, and email are required filed. After selection, click on the import button. Reviews will be imported with a success popup. Duplicate review (if any) will be automatically skipped.
Review Import History #
After importing each batch of CSV files, we keep this history with detailed information. After importing a batch of reviews if you think you want to delete those reviews, then you can revert it. All reviews of that batch will be deleted.
