Yes — restricting reviews to actual buyers is a one-setting change, and it’s the single biggest lever for keeping your review section authentic.

Step 1: Open Review Settings

Go to ReviewX → Reviews → Review Settings and open the Who can leave reviews on your shop dropdown.

Step 2: Restrict to verified owners

Select Reviews can only be left by “verified owners” and click Save.

What changes for shoppers

Only logged-in customers who purchased the product can now submit a review. Everyone else sees a note explaining that only verified purchasers may leave a review.

Review-request emails already handle this

If you collect reviews via review reminder emails, those links are already scoped to the specific customer and order — so this setting mainly affects reviews submitted directly on the product page.
