ReviewX has two completely separate discount systems that happen to both involve the word “coupon” — it’s an easy pair to mix up, so here’s the distinction.
1. A checkout discount code (Client Portal)
This is a promo code applied to your ReviewX subscription price itself, at checkout in the Client Portal. Click Have Coupon Code? on the plan/purchase page, enter the code, and click Apply — the discount reduces what you pay ReviewX. If you arrived via a link with a ?coupon= parameter, this is often applied automatically.
2. Discount for Review (WooCommerce)
This is a completely different feature, configured inside the WordPress plugin under ReviewX → Discount for Review. It automatically emails your own store’s shoppers a WooCommerce coupon as a thank-you for leaving a product review — nothing to do with your ReviewX subscription price. See Setting Up Discount for Review.
The quick way to tell them apart
If the discount affects what you pay ReviewX, it’s the checkout coupon. If it affects what your customers pay in your WooCommerce store, it’s Discount for Review.
