ReviewX brings multi-criteria product ratings, photo/video reviews, and review-collection automation to any WooCommerce store — and unlike most WooCommerce add-ons, it’s a single plugin for both free and paid tiers. There’s nothing extra to upload or license-check before you even get started. This guide covers the plugin download and installation step; once it’s active, head to Activating ReviewX to connect your license or account.
Step 1: Install from the WordPress plugin repository
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
- Go to Plugins → Add New Plugin.
- Search for “ReviewX”.
- Click Install Now on the ReviewX card, then click Activate once installation finishes.
Alternative: Manual upload
If your host restricts direct plugin installs, download the plugin zip from WordPress.org, then in your dashboard go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin, select the zip file, and click Install Now, followed by Activate.
What happens after activation
Activating ReviewX automatically checks whether WooCommerce is installed (it’s a requirement) and, on a fresh install, takes you straight into the onboarding wizard and login screen. You don’t need a separate “Pro” plugin at any point — the same install unlocks Pro features the moment a Pro license is connected.
Next step
Continue to Activating ReviewX with Your License Key or Account to connect the plugin and start the initial sync.
