2. Why Customer Reviews Survive Any Plugin Change
ReviewX stores every review as a native WordPress comment (wp_comments) associated with the WooCommerce product ID. Because this is the native WordPress comments architecture:
- If you deactivate ReviewX, WooCommerce instantly steps in and displays all reviews using your active theme’s native WooCommerce template.
- Customers can still read reviews, and new shoppers can continue submitting standard WooCommerce comments.
- All customer media (photos and videos) remain stored in your
wp-content/uploads/folder.
3. What Features Pause While ReviewX is Inactive
