Not every store needs multiple review criteria — ReviewX lets you switch between its multi-criteria rating system and WooCommerce’s plain single-star rating, so you can pick whichever fits your products.
Turning multi-criteria rating on
- Go to ReviewX → Reviews → Review Settings → Criteria.
- Enable the multi-criteria toggle and define your criteria names.
- Click Save.
Product pages now show the per-criteria breakdown alongside the overall rating.
Switching back to a single star rating
Disable the same toggle in the Criteria tab and save — ReviewX falls back to WooCommerce’s default single star rating, and the criteria breakdown stops showing.
Why this matters
Multi-criteria ratings unlock other ReviewX features that assume more than one dimension of feedback — the criteria graph shortcode, per-criteria filtering, and more granular review summaries. If your products don’t need that level of detail, the plain single rating keeps things simpler for both you and your customers.
