A star rating tells shoppers how satisfied a customer was, but a direct recommendation answers the ultimate buying question: “Would you recommend this product to a friend?” ReviewX captures this high-impact metric and showcases it prominently in your review widget.

Enabling Customer Recommendations

1. Go to ReviewX → Reviews → Review settings.
2. Locate the Recommendation? setting [1] in the review options list.
3. Turn the switch On.
4. Click Save at the bottom right of the screen.

How Recommendations are Displayed

Once activated, two major enhancements appear on your store:

• Review Submission Form: Customers are presented with an intuitive “Would you recommend this product?” prompt (with Yes / No options) alongside their star ratings.
• Widget Summary Bar: The public review widget header calculates and showcases your store’s aggregate recommendation percentage (e.g., “93% of customers recommend this product (148 of 160)”), instantly reassuring potential buyers before they add items to their cart.
