By default, WooCommerce allows anyone to leave a review on your products. ReviewX gives you granular control over review permissions to ensure authenticity and protect against fake reviews.

How to Change the Mode

Go to ReviewX → Reviews → Settings. Under the WooCommerce Review Settings panel, look for the permissions section to toggle whether reviews are allowed from anyone or strictly restricted to users who have successfully purchased the specific product.

Restricting to verified customers is the highly recommended setting for established stores. It guarantees 100% authentic feedback and automatically awards the Verified Buyer badge.
