The General Settings tab in ReviewX contains core configuration options for your store’s administrative settings. It is divided into three main sub-tabs: General, Security, and SMTP.

1. General Tab

Here you can configure administrative notifications. You can set the Admin Contact Email to receive alerts for new reviews or important system updates. You can also upload a custom Shop Logo to be used in emails and frontend components.

2. Security Tab

The security section allows you to configure Google reCAPTCHA. By entering your Site Key and Secret Key, you can enable advanced bot protection on your review submission forms to prevent spam.

3. SMTP Tab

If you prefer to route your review reminder emails through a dedicated mail server instead of standard PHP mail, you can configure your custom SMTP host, port, encryption, and credentials here. This ensures much higher email deliverability rates.
