If your store operates under GDPR or similar privacy regulations, getting explicit consent before publishing a customer’s review publicly isn’t optional — ReviewX’s consent checkbox handles that requirement at the point of submission.
Step 1: Open Review Settings
Go to ReviewX → Reviews → Review Settings and enable Allow Consent Checkbox.
Step 2: Customize the consent message
Edit the consent text to match your own privacy policy, for example:
“I consent to have my review displayed on this website and to the terms outlined in the Privacy Policy.”
Step 3: Save
Click Save. Customers now see this checkbox on the review form and must check it before they can submit — a review can’t be published without that explicit agreement.
