A ReviewX license key is what connects your WordPress plugin to a paid plan without needing your Client Portal email and password on hand every time — useful for agencies managing client sites, or anywhere you’d rather hand over a key than a password. Here’s how to generate and manage one.
Step 1: Sign in to the Client Portal
Go to the ReviewX Client Portal and sign in with your email and password. Don’t have an account yet? Click Create a Free Account — it only takes a name, email, and password.
Step 2: Open the Licenses page
From the dashboard navigation, click Licenses. You’ll see a table of every license key on your account, each showing its connected site (if any), status, and when it was generated.
Step 3: Generate a new key
Click Generate New Key. A new, unused license key appears in the table immediately — click the copy icon next to it to copy the key to your clipboard.
How many keys you can generate at once depends on your plan’s site-activation limit — free and entry-level plans allow fewer simultaneous connected sites than Pro or Agency plans.
Step 4: Paste it into the plugin
In your WordPress dashboard, open the ReviewX login screen and paste the key into the License Key field. See Activating ReviewX for the full activation walkthrough.
Managing existing keys
From the same Licenses table you can regenerate, deactivate/activate, remove the connected site from, or permanently delete any key — see Managing Your Licenses for what each action does.
