ReviewX’s settings are split across several dedicated admin pages rather than one long tab set — each one focused on a specific area, so you’re not scrolling through unrelated options to find what you need. Here’s a map of where everything lives.
ReviewX → Dashboard
An overview of review activity: sent/opened/clicked review-request emails and reviews collected over time.
ReviewX → Reviews
- Review Settings — who can review, order-status eligibility, auto-approval, photo/video reviews, anonymous reviews, multiple reviews per customer, review title field, consent checkbox, and spam protection. Configured separately for WooCommerce products and for each custom post type with reviews enabled.
- Widget Settings — layout (List/Grid/Masonry), brand color, badges, reviews-per-page, and filter/sort controls for the storefront-facing widget.
ReviewX → Review Reminder
Automated “please review your purchase” emails: timing, content, follow-up and photo-request reminders, thank-you emails, and the list of scheduled/sent request emails. See Sending Review Reminder Emails.
ReviewX → Discount for Review
Coupon-based incentives for leaving a review — single or per-customer codes, product restrictions, and discount email content.
ReviewX → Import/Export
CSV review import (with column/product mapping) and export, plus import history and rollback.
ReviewX → Custom Post Types
Enable ReviewX reviews on any custom post type, with the same criteria/photo-review options available for WooCommerce products.
ReviewX → Integration
Connect Google Places to pull in and display Google Reviews.
ReviewX → Tools
Cache management and duplicate review cleanup — see Managing Cache in ReviewX and Finding & Removing Duplicate Reviews.
ReviewX → General Settings
- General — admin email notifications, shop logo for admin replies.
- Security — spam protection (math CAPTCHA or Google reCAPTCHA). See Configuring reCAPTCHA.
- SMTP — connect your own mail server for unlimited review/discount emails. See Connecting Your Own SMTP Server.
Where to start
If you haven’t already, the fastest path to a working setup is the onboarding wizard, followed by the Quick Setup Checklist for anything the wizard doesn’t cover.
